CORTIS Tops FANNSTAR New Star Ranking for Two Consecutive Weeks, Advances to Choice Award Group Finals

After taking its first No. 1 last week, the group defended the top position for a second consecutive week, proving the steady support and unity of its fandom. WHIB ranked second, followed by UNIS in third place.The New Star Ranking is open to rookie idols who debuted in or after 2023. It not only shows how quickly artists are building their fandoms during the early stages of their careers, but is also gaining attention as an indicator of the growth potential of next-generation acts expected to lead the future K-pop market.The New Star Ranking also offers various advertising benefits based on consecutive No. 1 records. Artists who achieve five consecutive weeks at No. 1 receive a main banner advertisement on the “ALL THE K-POP” YouTube channel, while those who rank No. 1 for 10 consecutive weeks receive a congratulatory advertisement on Hongdae M Screen in Mapo-gu, Seoul.CORTIS also ranked second in the preliminary vote for the Choice Award Group category in the FANNSTAR division of the 2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS, advancing as a final candidate. Final voting for the Choice Award Group category is scheduled to open at 12 p.m. on August 18.Meanwhile, CORTIS will kick off its “2026 CORTIS TOUR
IN NORTH AMERICA” in Toronto, Canada, on August 4 and visit six cities across North America through August 16.
