Yoo Yeon-seok had been operating through his one-person agency, Forever Entertainment, but the National Tax Service determined that the entity did not substantially support entertainment activities and imposed taxes amounting to around 6 billion won last spring. After a pre-assessment review, the final tax amount was adjusted to about 3 billion won, which Yoo Yeon-seok paid before filing the tax appeal.
