Actress Ji Ye-eun appeared on the YouTube channel ’Okikik’ and shared her experience of having her self-esteem greatly shaken after entering Korea National University of Arts (K-Arts). In the video ″Adult Love in Their 30s″ released on the 5th, Ji Ye-eun talked about the differences between being in her 20s and 30s. She recalled that in her 20s, she would sometimes go out for makgeolli with her classmates during class at K-Arts, reminiscing about the unique free atmosphere of the art school. On the other hand, after turning 30, she said she became more conscious of appearances and others’ opinions, which made her feel more restricted. Ji Ye-eun revealed that when she was accepted into her desired university in her early 20s, she thought she was a genius, but after entering school, seeing many talented and beautiful classmates lowered her self-esteem. Watching her classmates get cast in dramas and appear on TV while she was working part-time made it difficult for her to even turn on the TV. However, she added that she regained her self-esteem through working. Also, in the video, when Gabi said she felt like an adult when signing a document contract, Ji Ye-eun responded that she cannot handle signing a housing contract alone and has to bring her mother. She said she also does things like buying dishes, going to the hospital, and installing the TV with her mother, honestly expressing, ″I feel like I wouldn’t be able to do anything if my mother passed away.″
