Hwang Jung-min, Mr. A's call recordings released... a total of 77 calls and stalking lawsuit battle

Amid the release of the recorded phone conversations between Hwang Jung-min and woman A, the background behind Hwang Jung-min making 62 calls to A first has been revealed. On the 6th, Dispatch reported that after analyzing the recordings of the 62 calls Hwang Jung-min made to A, the content mainly conveyed his intention to cut off contact and end the relationship. In the released recordings, Hwang Jung-min is said to have made statements such as ″Stop texting,″ ″Stop contacting me,″ ″I don’t want to meet,″ ″I feel like I’m going to die,″ ″Let’s cut ties,″ ″I’m going crazy,″ ″Please,″ and ″It’s burdensome.″ A claimed that she had 77 phone calls with Hwang Jung-min from May 2024 to May 2025, and that 62 of those calls were initiated by Hwang Jung-min. She also asserted that there was private interaction between the two. The process by which Hwang Jung-min sent selfies to A was also revealed. A continuously demanded photos, and although Hwang Jung-min suggested meeting at a preview event to take pictures together, A refused and insisted only on selfies. Eventually, Hwang Jung-min sent the photos, which A used as evidence to claim a private relationship between them. Additionally, A requested Hwang Jung-min to ″stay together in a confined space for 24 hours″ and ″attend drinking gatherings,″ but Hwang Jung-min reportedly declined. Hwang Jung-min acknowledged responsibility for suggesting a meal to a fan and using friendly expressions, saying in the recordings, ″I misspoke when I said, ’Shall we work together sometime?’ I was really wrong.″ He continued, ″It wasn’t easy to end things face-to-face, and I didn’t want to meet, so I think I dragged it out like this. I sincerely apologize for that.″ According to Dispatch’s report, A is said to have applied psychological pressure by claiming she attempted extreme measures. In response, Hwang Jung-min said, ″Don’t say such serious things. That’s a threat.″ Also revealed was a message exchange where after A sent messages late at night, Hwang Jung-min called the next morning pleading, ″Please. Don’t send messages recklessly like that late at night.″ Due to the continued contact, Hwang Jung-min requested to stop communication, saying, ″Let’s cut ties,″ and ″Please, just let me live. I’ll beg with both hands, please.″ Hwang Jung-min’s side viewed A as a suspect of continuous stalking crimes and proceeded with a criminal complaint. The court issued a provisional restraining order against A and a summary order for a fine of 3 million won. A appealed and requested a formal trial.
