Lim Young Woong 10th debut anniversary, fan clubs donate 30 million won in relay...supporting social welfare and the Red Cross

To celebrate Lim Young Woong’s 10th anniversary since debut, fan clubs across the country engaged in various donations and volunteer activities. The Lim Young Woong fan club ’Hero Era Together Woong Study Room’ donated 10 million KRW to the Busan Community Chest of Korea to help neighbors in need in commemoration of the 10th anniversary. With this donation, ’Hero Era Together Woong Study Room’ newly joined the ’Sharing Leaders Club’ as the 40th member group of the Busan Love Fruit’s group donation program. The ’Sharing Leaders Club’ grants membership to groups or organizations that donate or pledge over 10 million KRW within three years. A representative who attended the donation ceremony stated, ″Like singer Lim Young Woong, who has deeply moved the public with sincere music and warm actions over the past 10 years, we as fans also wanted to be a small but strong support for neighbors facing difficulties in society.″ The Busan Love Fruit expressed gratitude, saying, ″We were deeply moved to see fans’ genuine affection for the artist turn into a great sharing that embraces marginalized neighbors in the local community.″ In Seoul, the Lim Young Woong fan club ’Forever Woong Study’ donated 10.58 million KRW to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea and joined as the 5th member of the ’Good Fan Club.’ The ’Good Fan Club’ is a title given to fan clubs that have donated over 30 million KRW within three years. This donation was prepared to commemorate Lim Young Woong’s 10th debut anniversary on August 8 and will be used for building a social safety net based on a community network cooperating with 25 autonomous districts of Seoul and for customized support projects. Forever Woong Study has been donating since 2024 to projects such as restoration of facilities damaged by heavy rain, support for vulnerable children, and climate crisis response, and has also joined the ’Sharing Leaders Club.’ Joanna, the representative of Forever Woong Study, said, ″Like the positive influence Lim Young Woong shows, we want to continue sharing with neighbors in need and widely spread the positive values of fandom culture.″ In the Gyeonggi and Seoul areas, ’Hero Era with Hero Gyeonggi·Seoul’ conducted donations, support, and volunteer activities totaling 10.46 million KRW. The Gyeonggi Branch 2 donated 4.16 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross and supported 800,000 KRW for baking volunteer materials, delivering 450 breads made by members to eight institutions in the Gunpo and Gwacheon areas. The Gyeonggi Branch 3 donated 3.5 million KRW to Green Umbrella to support education and create a healthy growth environment for children in the Gyeonggi region. The Gyeonggi Branch 7 and Seogyeong Band each donated 1 million KRW, totaling 2 million KRW, to Big Dog Forest to improve the welfare of companion dogs in need of protection. ’Hero Era with Hero’ expressed their intention to continue ongoing social contribution activities nationwide. Meanwhile, Lim Young Woong will hold ’IM HERO - THE STADIUM 2’ at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium from September 4 to 6. This concert is the second stadium concert since debut, following the Sangam concert, and will feature various stages, music, and productions.
