TWS surpasses 160,000 copies on the first day of Japanese single 2nd album release... Achieves No. 1 on Oricon Daily Chart

TWS (Shinyu, Dohun, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) released their second single ″SODA SODA″ in Japan on the 4th and is gaining high popularity locally. The single sold 161,253 copies on its first day, ranking number one on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking (August 3rd). This surpassed the first-week sales of their previous work ″Nice to see you again″ (original title はじめまして/Hajimemashite), which sold about 150,000 copies, in just one day. TWS set a new record for their highest first-day sales. The title track ″SODA SODA″ also performed well on music charts. The song entered the Line Music real-time ″Song Top 100″ immediately after release and ranked number one in the dance category on Japan iTunes and Apple Music ″Top Songs″ (August 5th). It also appeared on Melon’s ″Hot 100.″ The music video ranked second on Japan Line Music’s ″Music Video Top 100″ and third on Korea YouTube’s ″Daily Popular Music Videos.″ It received praise as ″a video that simultaneously conveys freshness and wistfulness.″ Offline events were also held successfully.
