Monsta X, comeback with mini album 'The Phase' on September 4... Joohoney participates in 4 songs, Hyungwon includes self-composed tracks

Monsta X will make a comeback on September 4 with a new mini album titled ’The Phase.’ This album includes a total of six tracks: the title song ’MAGIC,’ ’Type X,’ ’SURVIVOR,’ ’Electric Heart,’ ’That’s My Girl,’ and ’Sweet Night, Sweet Morning.’ Juheon participated in writing and composing four songs, including the title track, and also took part in arranging ’SURVIVOR’ and ’Electric Heart.’ Hyungwon also contributed his self-composed song ’Sweet Night, Sweet Morning’ to the album. The tracklist video was released with a concept where exercise equipment is disassembled, showing each part along with the track names, and then reassembled firmly. The video was released on August 9 through Monsta X’s official channel and Starship Entertainment’s official SNS. Marking their 11th year since debut, Monsta X engaged in various musical activities this year, including Juheon’s solo activities, a unit project by Shownu and Hyungwon, and solo activities by Minhyuk and Kihyun. This album is their first group release in about a year since the mini album ’THE X’ released on September 1 last year. During this period, they released the full-length album ’Unfold’ in the United States and connected with Monbebe worldwide through their world tour. The activities for ’The Phase’ will include leader Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Juheon, while I.M is expected to join after completing his military service.
