PLAVE Wins ‘Global Hot Star’ Award at THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS for Second Consecutive Year

 PLAVE Tops the Final ‘Global Hot Star’ RankingsNEXZ Takes Second, AHOF Finishes Third  Virtual group PLAVE has won the ‘Global Hot Star’ award at THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS for the second consecutive year.The organizing committee of THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS (TMA) announced on August 11 that PLAVE took the top spot in the FANNSTAR ‘Global Hot Star’ category at the ‘2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS’, following three weeks of voting held from July 20 through August 10.The ‘Global Hot Star’ award is presented to 4th- and 5th-generation K-pop artists who received the most love and support from fans in Korea and around the world in 2026. Following the preliminary voting round, 10 groups advanced to the final round: NEXZ, BOYNEXTDOOR, Stray Kids, AHOF, ATEEZ, n.SSign, TEMPEST, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, TWS and PLAVE, listed in Korean alphabetical order.PLAVE finished first among the 10 finalists, earning the ‘Global Hot Star’ award for the second consecutive year after winning the honor last year. NEXZ, which finished second, and AHOF, which placed third, also made a strong impression. Both groups ranked among the top contenders for the ‘Global Hot Star’ award, demonstrating their potential as leading acts poised to shape the next generation of K-pop. As special benefits, the second-place winner will receive advertising exposure at the Korea Building in Cheonggyecheon, while the third-place winner will receive advertising exposure on a K-City Tour Bus.Meanwhile, THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS has established itself as a distinctive global music festival through its fair awards and high-quality performances each year. The ceremony continues to strengthen its reputation and standing by highlighting the achievements of K-pop artists expanding their influence on the global stage, while also serving as a festival where fans and artists can come together and share the experience.The ‘2026 THE FACT MUSIC AWARDS,’ taking place on September 19 at Busan Asiad Main Stadium, will feature performances by RIIZE, RESCENE, xikers, IDID, ILLIT, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, EVAN, ATEEZ, NMIXX, ALLDAY PROJECT, Lim Young Woong, YENA, CORTIS, CLOSE YOUR EYES, KiiiKiii, TREASURE and tripleS.
