BTS Jungkook set a record as the first and longest-running Asian solo artist to enter the Spotify ″Weekly Top Albums Global″ chart for 144 consecutive weeks with his first solo album ’GOLDEN.’ ’GOLDEN’ has remained on the charts for an extended period since its release in 2023, ranking 149th on the chart compiled from July 31 to August 6. The album surpassed 7.35 billion cumulative streams for an Asian artist’s full-length album on Spotify, with an average of approximately 3.3 million daily streams being added. Jungkook’s ’GOLDEN’ debuted at number 2 on Spotify’s ″Weekly Top Albums Global″ chart, staying in the top 5 for five consecutive weeks and in the top 10 for six consecutive weeks. It also ranked number 1 on the ″Top Album Debut Global,″ ″Top Album Debut US,″ and ″Top Album Debut UK″ charts. The album entered the US Billboard main album chart ″Billboard 200″ for 25 weeks, marking the longest entry for an Asian solo artist, and stayed on the UK Official main album chart ″Top 100″ for eight weeks, the longest ever for a K-pop solo artist. Recently, it charted on the iTunes Worldwide Album Chart for a total of 526 days. Jungkook’s Spotify personal account achieved a total of 11.33 billion streams based on all credits, making him the fastest Asian artist and the first K-pop solo artist to reach this milestone.
