BTS 'Swim' enters Billboard Hot 100 for 20 consecutive weeks, ranking 91st

BTS’s fifth studio album ″ARIRANG″ title track ″SWIM″ has charted on the US Billboard Hot 100 main singles chart for 20 consecutive weeks. In the latest chart released by Billboard on August 15, ″SWIM″ ranked 91st. The song has maintained its position on the Hot 100 for 20 consecutive weeks since entering at number one on the April 4 chart. With this, ″SWIM″ set the second-longest 20-week consecutive Hot 100 charting record among BTS songs, alongside ″Butter,″ released in 2021. The BTS song that stayed the longest on the Hot 100 is ″Dynamite,″ which charted for 32 consecutive weeks. ″SWIM″ also stood out on global charts. It ranked 4th on the Global (excluding US) chart, which aggregates streaming and digital sales data from over 200 countries and regions worldwide, and 12th on the Global 200 chart. Notably, it maintained a top 10 position on the Global (excluding US) chart for 20 consecutive weeks. Another track from ″ARIRANG,″ ″NORMAL,″ ranked 24th on the Global (excluding US) chart and 49th on the Global 200 chart. After the music video and Korean version of the song were released on the 17th of last month, it regained presence on the Billboard charts and reached 40th on the Pop Airplay chart. Including ″SWIM″ and ″NORMAL,″ six tracks from ″ARIRANG,″ such as ″Body to Body,″ ″2.0,″ ″Hooligan,″ and ″Aliens,″ entered the Global (excluding US) chart. Additionally, ″Dynamite,″ performed at the halftime show of the 2026 FIFA North America World Cup final, maintained its position on the chart for three consecutive weeks. The album’s chart performance continued as well. ″ARIRANG″ rose one spot from the previous week to rank 14th on the main album chart, Billboard 200. The album previously held the number one spot on the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks, with a total of 13 weeks spent in the Billboard 200 top 10. This week, it ranked 7th on the Top Album Sales chart, 25th on the Top Streaming Albums chart, and 11th on the Vinyl Albums chart. BTS is currently conducting the ″ARIRANG″ world tour in the North American region.
