EXID Hyelin starts a taco restaurant... Monthly sales of 140 million KRW "A turning point in life"

Hyerin of the group EXID shared an update about running a taco shop in Anguk, Seoul. Hyerin appeared on the YouTube channel ″Human Story,″ working directly at the store while giving an interview. She revealed that the shop, which opened last March, has now been operating for five months. Hyerin explained, ″The average monthly sales are about 140 million won,″ and added, ″After expenses, about 40 million won remains.″ Regarding running the store, she said, ″I operate the shop with help from those around me, not alone.″ Introducing herself as a 15-year veteran since her debut, Hyerin recalled the time during the COVID-19 pandemic when all stages disappeared, saying, ″There was a period when I wondered, ’Why am I living? What do I like? What am I good at?’″ She said, ″There was no reason to get up,″ and added, ″I was waking up at 3 or 4 o’clock, so I thought I needed a reason to get up. I applied for a part-time job and suddenly went out. When I went out, people were so happy, and I was shocked that I had wasted that time.″ Hyerin also mentioned that when she first challenged the food service industry, she was conscious of people’s views about a celebrity running a business, but said, ″When I thought about it, I wondered why I should care about that,″ and shared that this challenge was her hope.
