Black Pink, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa apologize over controversy at 10th anniversary fan event... Jennie expresses gratitude

Black Pink member Rosé’s past remarks about the team’s future and member activities are gaining attention again. In January, Rosé appeared on the American podcast ″Call Her Daddy,″ where host Alex Cooper asked her what they would do if one of the members no longer wanted to participate in Black Pink activities. Rosé responded, ″I think we’ve talked about it, but I don’t remember the specific details of the conversation.″ She continued, ″If any of us feels at some point that continuing (the activities) isn’t right, I think we would all accept it. We would understand, and be understood.″ She also added, ″Whether it’s Black Pink or any relationship, if one person is not ready for something, they deserve respect. And we are always prepared for that. Because first of all, Black Pink consists of only four people. So, whatever decision each member makes at any point in their life, no one’s decision can be ignored. We believe that every decision made is the right decision for each individual.″ Meanwhile, Black Pink held a ″Meet & Greet″ event at the National Museum of Korea in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on the 8th to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary. The event was held with 40 fans selected by random draw. Two days before the event, controversy arose over perceived mistreatment of fans due to a small bouquet, a 6,900 won rice cake gift, and a short 11-minute live broadcast. In response, members Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa apologized in turn. Jennie expressed her gratitude.
