BTS Jimin, a special moment for incurable disease fan Olivia... passionate fan service at the World Tour in Arlington

BTS Jimin gave a special memory to a young fan named Olivia, who is suffering from an incurable disease, during the world tour ’ARIRANG’ performance held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. With the support of the American nonprofit organization Heroes for Children, children with incurable diseases and their families attended the performance together in the audience. A video released on Heroes for Children’s official social media showed Jimin approaching the audience during the performance, spotting Olivia, making eye contact, and handing her a souvenir he had. Then, Jimin gently stroked Olivia’s head, warmly hugged her, and gave fan service by lightly kissing her on the cheek. Olivia showed surprise and joy at Jimin’s unexpected gift, and fans and staff around her smiled as well. Heroes for Children expressed gratitude to Jimin and BTS when they released the video. The organization supports children with incurable diseases and their families, and for this performance, they arranged the opportunity for children including Olivia to watch the BTS concert. Jimin also attracted attention for his styling that revealed Korean identity by wearing a T-shirt embroidered with the Geon-Gon-Gam-Ri pattern at the Arlington performance. BTS has been conducting the world tour ’ARIRANG’ since the Goyang performance in April, and the U.S. tour will continue from Arlington to Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
