BTS Jimin commemorated the 81st Liberation Day wearing the Taegeukgi... heated up the Arlington venue in the U.S.

Jimin showcased a Taegukgi-themed styling to commemorate Liberation Day at a performance held in Arlington, Texas, on August 15. On that day, Jimin wore a costume featuring red and blue hairpieces and the Geon-gon-gam-ri pattern, embodying the significance of the 81st Liberation Day on stage. At the performance venue, a moment was captured where Jimin gifted a keyring to a child and gently patted their head. This child was known to be a pediatric cancer patient invited to the concert by the nonprofit organization Heroes for Children. After the performance, the staff posted two photos of Jimin along with a Taegukgi-shaped emoji on social media. Fans left various comments such as ″The kindest Jimin in the world,″ ″Thanks to Jimin, I was reminded of the meaning of Liberation Day once again,″ and ″Beautiful Jimin’s beautiful Liberation Day commemorative styling.″ Last year, Jimin also wore a hat with a Taegukgi patch in the United States to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Liberation. Meanwhile, since the Texas Arlington performance began, Jimin has ranked as the most trending BTS member in the United States.
