BTS 'Arirang' ranks 21st on the Billboard 200... 21 consecutive weeks on the chart

BTS’s fifth studio album, ″Arirang,″ has maintained steady popularity by charting for 21 consecutive weeks on the Billboard main album chart. According to the latest chart dated August 22, released by Billboard on August 18, ″Arirang″ ranked 21st on the Billboard 200. The album first entered the chart at number one on the April 4 issue and held the top spot for three consecutive weeks, subsequently remaining on the chart for 21 straight weeks. On detailed charts, it ranked 7th on Top Album Sales, 24th on Vinyl Albums, and 32nd on Top Streaming Albums. The title track ″SWIM″ reached 5th place on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and stayed in the Top 10 for 21 consecutive weeks. It also ranked 12th on the Global 200 chart. The track ″NORMAL″ entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart at 36th and the Global 200 at 57th following the release of its music video and Korean audio on the 17th of last month. Other tracks such as ″Body to Body″ (130th), ″2.0″ (154th), and ″Hooligan″ (157th) also entered the Global Excl. U.S. chart. BTS began their second North American tour on the 1st and 2nd in East Rutherford, USA. After recently completing a performance at Arlington’s AT&T Stadium, they are scheduled to continue the tour at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on the 22nd and 23rd. According to a survey conducted by global music data company Luminate in the second quarter of this year targeting U.S. music consumers, BTS’s local recognition was 42%, significantly surpassing the overall artist average recognition of 24%.
