Roy Kim, Kim Jong-kook new songs and artist collaborations... Lim Young Woong, Choo Young-woo, and Lee Chan-won participate in composing and songwriting

Roy Kim has recently strengthened his position as a composer and lyricist through collaborations with various artists. He has continuously showcased his musical abilities by working on songs with artists from different genres and fields such as Lim Young Woong, Chu Young-woo, Lee Chan-won, and Kim Jong-kook. Most recently, he collaborated with Kim Jong-kook. Roy Kim participated as a composer and lyricist in Kim Jong-kook’s new song ″Let’s Hug Just Once,″ released on the 14th. This collaboration attracted attention as it brought together Roy Kim, who has long built his own musical world, and Kim Jong-kook, known for his distinctive vocals. In August last year, he also took part in composing and writing lyrics for the song ″Melody for You″ included in Lim Young Woong’s second full-length album ″IM HERO2.″ This song, blending a lively melody with warm emotions, harmonized Lim Young Woong’s vocals with Roy Kim’s musical style. Recently, on the broadcast ″Mountain Village Bachelor Hero,″ Lim Young Woong and Roy Kim performed a duet stage together. His collaboration with actor Chu Young-woo also continued. In September last year, Roy Kim participated in composing and writing lyrics for Chu Young-woo’s first digital single ″If Time Stopped.″ Their collaboration began from Chu Young-woo’s cover of Roy Kim’s ″Even If Spring Comes″ and led to the actor’s first digital single project. Additionally, Roy Kim wrote the lyrics for the title track ″Somehow Today″ from Lee Chan-won’s second full-length album ″Brilliant,″ released in October last year. The song was composed by Jo Young-soo and had lyrics by Roy Kim, adding a new sensibility to Lee Chan-won’s music. Roy Kim is scheduled to hold his year-end concerts at Seoul KSPO DOME on November 21 and 22.
