Lim Young Woong fan club donates 540 million KRW to celebrate 10th debut anniversary... surpasses 5 billion KRW in total donations

Singer Lim Young Woong’s fan club, ’Hero Era,’ celebrated Lim Young Woong’s 10th debut anniversary by carrying out donation and sharing activities nationwide. From July to August, Hero Era and various fan groups donated cash and goods to hospitals, welfare facilities, organizations for the disabled, child and youth support institutions, free meal centers, and more. According to the compiled donation status, a total of 53 sharing activities worth 544.33 million KRW were made, including 527.89 million KRW in cash and 16.44 million KRW in goods. In particular, a ’Woong Dream Scholarship’ worth 250 million KRW was prepared by 32 fan clubs joining forces, and on July 31, the nationwide Hero Era awarded scholarships to about 200 youths and students to commemorate the 10th anniversary. The donation campaign began on July 4 when Ulsan Hero Era Hero Room supported 5 million KRW for medical expenses for vulnerable patients at Ulsan University Hospital. Afterwards, the Lim Young Woong Support Study Room donated 3 million KRW to the Chungbuk Disabled Football Association, and Hero Era Yeongbuk Room donated 140 bags of rice (worth 5.11 million KRW) to Sokcho City. Yongin Hero Era Dongbaek Room donated 5 million KRW to Yongin Special City, and Hero Era Jeonbuk Study Room delivered 6.27 million KRW to Jeonbuk Community Chest of Korea. On July 22, Yeongdeungpo-gu Daerim Starlight Study Room supported 6.16 million KRW worth of food and daily necessities to Jjokbangchon Ongi Warehouse. On July 28, Hero Era Daegu Passion Hero Room donated 5.2 million KRW to the Public Children’s Rehabilitation Medical Center, Hero Era Nationwide Nuya donated 4 million KRW to Mapo Welfare Foundation, and Daejeon Hero Love donated 3 million KRW to Daedeok-gu, Daejeon. On July 29, Hero Era Busan Volunteer Room donated 8.8 million KRW to Busan Community Chest of Korea, and Hero Era Yeongdong Room delivered 165 blankets worth 8.08 million KRW to Donghae City. Ansan Hero Era donated 10 million KRW to Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea, and Suncheon Hero Era Woong Love donated 5.2 million KRW to Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea. Ansan Hero Era also donated 1.84 million KRW to a residential facility for people with severe disabilities, and Dangjin Starlight Hero Era delivered 2.2 million KRW to Chungnam Community Chest of Korea. Donations continued in August. On August 1, Hero Era Ilsan (Hebuljjuk Woong) donated 3 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross, and on August 2, Andong Hero Era donated 2 million KRW to Good Neighbors. On August 3, Pyeongtaek Woong Family donated 3 million KRW to Hapjeong Short-Term Care Center for the Disabled, and Hero Era Idol Chart Support Room delivered 2.86 million KRW to the Korea Adoption Promotion Association. On the same day, Daejeon Geonhaeng Yeosa Room donated 5 million KRW to Daedeok-gu, Daejeon, and Hero Era Ulsan Ongi Room donated 3 million KRW to Nam-gu, Ulsan. On August 4, Hero Era Ongi Choir donated 3.2 million KRW to Community Chest of Korea, and Hero Era Band Sharing Group donated 10 million KRW to Yonsei Medical Center. Ulsan Ttarattar Room donated 4 million KRW to Ulsan Community Chest of Korea (Hyejinwon), and Hero Era Yeosu Starlight Room delivered 5 million KRW to Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea. Lim Young Woong Dance Club donated 2 million KRW to the Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation, Hero Era Daegu Starlight Study Room donated 10 million KRW to the D.F Scholarship Foundation, and Hero Era Together Woong Study Room donated 10 million KRW to Busan Community Chest of Korea. Hero Era Streaming Classroom donated 8.08 million KRW to Severance Rehabilitation Hospital, and Cheonan Asan Hero Era delivered 6 million KRW to the Korea Leukemia Childhood Cancer Association. Hero Era with Hero Gyeonggi·Seoul donated 10.46 million KRW to the Red Cross, Green Umbrella, Big Tree Forest, and others, and Forever Woong Study donated 10.58 million KRW to Seoul Community Chest of Korea. Jecheon Starlight Hero Era donated 6 million KRW to Jecheon City, and Hero Era members ’Chamsaemigol’ and ’Pohang Heunga’ delivered 2.5 million KRW to Gunwi County. On August 7, Ulsan Hero Love HOME donated 2.05 million KRW to Ulsan University Hospital, and Hero Era Geoje donated 10.04 million KRW to Geoje City Hope Welfare Foundation. Busan Together Woong Donation Room delivered 10 million KRW to the Busan Cerebral Palsy Football Team (Ottogi FC). Incheon Hero Era Sangok Room donated 3 million KRW to the international relief and development NGO World Vision, and Hero Era The HERO Top Gangwon donated 5 million KRW to Good Neighbors Gangwon Central Branch. Chuncheon Pink Woong Love Room delivered 2 million KRW to the Korean Red Cross Gangwon. On August 8, Im Hero Supporters donated 8.5 million KRW to Milal Welfare Foundation, Hero Era Boryeong Room donated 1.5 million KRW to the Korea Child Welfare Institute, and Hero Era Tongyeong donated 5 million KRW to Tongyeong City. On August 9, Hongcheon Room delivered 100 bags of rice (worth 3.25 million KRW) to a free meal center in the Hongcheon area. On August 12, Seongnam Hero Geonhaengguk donated 8.8 million KRW to the social welfare corporation Anna’s House, Hero Era member Jeong Gyeong-ae donated 3 million KRW to the same, and Busan Hero Era Study House donated 3 million KRW to the Busan Briquette Bank Table Community. On August 15, Hero Era Volunteer Sharing Room ’Raon’ sponsored 2.22 million KRW to Yangpyeong Rodem House and supported free meals. Overseas fans also participated in sharing. Seattle Hero Era donated 8.08 million KRW to Community Chest of Korea, Mrs. Suteilor donated 2,000 USD to Seungil Hope Foundation, Hawaii Hero Era donated 11,000 USD to the Korean Festival, Korean American Citizens Alliance, and Hawaii Korean Sports Association, and Noh Seong-wook from Los Carolina, USA, donated 1,000 USD to Community Chest of Korea. Hero Era has consistently continued sharing activities such as blood donations, briquette deliveries, and disaster relief donations on Lim Young Woong’s birthday, debut anniversary, and year-end, with cumulative donations exceeding 5 billion KRW.
