"Want to cut ties with my mom," son's story... Lee Hoseon advises, "You need to stop contact for 3 years"

On the June 18th broadcast of tvN’s ’Lee Ho-sun Counseling Center,’ a son’s story about wanting to cut ties with his mother was introduced. The son, the protagonist of the story, revealed that his relationship with his mother feels burdensome and said he is considering ways to avoid hurting each other. He shared that he was a victim of school violence during his school years but could not confide in his mother. He also described experiencing group bullying, including specific situations such as two or three people following him into the bathroom. An incident from the past, when the son almost drowned, was mentioned as a reason why he could not rely on his mother. At that time, the mother said, ″I thought I might die trying to save this child. I came out to survive. Fortunately, the child got out.″ She also added that after the child grew up, she once jokingly said during a conversation, ″You can just have another child.″ Counselor Lee Ho-sun pointed out that the mother’s candid remarks hurt the son. He then revealed the son’s personality test results, showing a high score in antisocial tendencies and only 19 points in autonomy. He analyzed that the son is exhausted and worn out alone and advised cutting off contact with the mother for three years.
