Kim Jaejoong is releasing a new single, ″THE WAVE,″ after one year and three months. Encode Entertainment announced that on the 20th at 6 PM, Kim Jaejoong will release his new album through various online music platforms. This single includes the title track ″Tonight″ and the B-side ″Majunggil.″ ″THE WAVE″ is the first album released domestically in about one year and three months since the mini-album ″Beauty in Chaos″ last May. The agency explained, ″We wanted to showcase Kim Jaejoong’s wide vocal spectrum through two songs with different atmospheres.″ They also stated, ″The deepened emotions that come like waves will deliver a profound resonance to listeners.″ The title track ″Tonight″ combines lyrics expressing the ambition and passion to breathe with fans on stage and leap into the world, energetic sounds, and powerful vocals. The lyrics include phrases reminiscent of a narrative with fans, such as ″Together in green light″ and ″Where dawn ends.″ The B-side ″Majunggil″ is a song with a lyrical melody and emotional lyrics themed around pure times, produced by Chorokbyeongbonbu, led by singer-songwriter Lee Mujin. After the release of the new album, Kim Jaejoong will hold a solo concert with the same name as the single, ″2026 KIM JAE JOONG CONCERT [THE WAVE],″ on the 29th and 30th at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
