Singer Sungri will release the special winning song ″Sad Rain″ from MBN’s ″Unknown Legend″ on August 20 at 6 PM through various music streaming platforms. ″Sad Rain″ is an alternative rock genre song, written, composed, and arranged by composer Kim Jin-ryong. This song was created exclusively for Sungri and features a rhythm infused with Korean soul. The lyrics compare the breakup with a loved one to rain, expressing a poignant longing that tries to soothe regret and pain. The sorrowful yet intense sound and guitar phrases are designed to maximize Sungri’s unique soft yet powerful vocals. After six audition attempts on ″Unknown Legend,″ Sungri won the final victory and received various benefits including a prize of 100 million won, the release of a new song, a nationwide tour concert, a cruise fan meeting, a program produced under the winner’s name, a second house in Jeju, and a film featuring the winner as the main character. Sungri has experience as a member of the idol groups K-Boys and Rainz and gained popularity by winning ″Unknown Legend,″ which ended last May.
