2AM Jo Kwon reveals his pet dog Gaga's battle with cancer: "Additional surgery impossible due to bladder metastasis"

Jo Kwon of the group 2AM expressed his deep affection for his dog Gaga, who is battling cancer, through his personal SNS. On the 20th, Jo Kwon posted a lengthy message on his personal SNS revealing Gaga’s health condition and his difficult feelings. He began the post by saying, ″I have a lot of time, but Gaga’s time seems to be passing quickly.″ Jo Kwon explained that Gaga was diagnosed with small intestine cancer a year ago and has undergone two major surgeries, six rounds of injection chemotherapy, and is currently continuing oral chemotherapy. He added that a month ago, the cancer metastasized to the bladder, making further surgery impossible, and they are doing their best to prevent the condition from worsening. Jo Kwon also shared that watching Gaga, who was once plump, gradually grow thinner has been heartbreaking, though he usually does not show it. He confessed that he is pained wondering how much time Gaga has left. He revealed that he is doing his best every moment for his ailing dog, taking Gaga for daily walks as usual for 14 years, carefully preparing meals, providing snacks, pads, and water, going on drives and visiting playrooms, brushing teeth, applying eye drops, and administering chemotherapy medication without missing a single day, all with love. Jo Kwon added, ″Gaga’s eyesight is gradually fading, and the day will come when I am no longer visible to him, right? Every night, I pray that Gaga can stay longer with the loved ones he remembers.″ He continued, ″Perhaps we learn how to love by watching over that short life. Let’s do our best without regrets so we won’t feel sorry to the love we have.″ Meanwhile, Jo Kwon is currently appearing on MBN’s variety show ″Legendary Man.″
