ENHYPEN are only one day away from their next era.
At a press conference in Seoul on August 20, Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki discussed their eighth mini album, THE SIN : BLISS, which arrives worldwide on August 21 at 1 p.m. KST.
The comeback follows roughly seven months of preparation, but Jungwon said the group’s fundamental approach never changed.
For ENHYPEN, performance still comes first.
“We’ve always had the same mindset,” Jungwon explained, adding that the members continued prioritizing their stage performances regardless of the circumstances surrounding them.
But their recent world tour provided something rehearsals could not: direct confirmation that ENGENE were still moving forward with them.

Jungwon said meeting fans on tour gave the group significant energy while preparing the album.
More importantly, seeing ENGENE face-to-face allowed the members to feel that fans shared their excitement about ENHYPEN’s next chapter.
That connection became particularly obvious during the group’s BLOOD SAGA concerts in Busan on August 8 and 9.
ENHYPEN unexpectedly performed “Bloody Paradise” before its official release, introducing both the song and choreography to thousands of fans almost two weeks early. The two concerts ran roughly 160 minutes and included 28 songs.
Jake said the reaction surprised them.
Even though the track was still unreleased, fans began singing along and responding enthusiastically giving the members confidence before comeback day.
In other words, ENHYPEN did not have to wait until August 21 to find out whether the song worked in front of an audience.
They already tested it live.
That live reaction could become important because “Bloody Paradise” represents another musical shift for the group.
The track is built around Brazilian funk rhythms, combining a repetitive groove with the dark, performance-heavy atmosphere associated with ENHYPEN.
Its story follows two lovers being chased while treating each other as their only refuge—turning a dangerous escape into their own version of paradise.
Grammy-winning producer JULiA LEWiS, who worked on Bad Bunny’s “EL CLúB,” participated in the production, while Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko contributed lyrics.
The full music video will arrive at midnight KST on August 22, several hours after the album itself.

THE SIN : BLISS is the second chapter of ENHYPEN’s THE SI series following THE SIN : VANISH.
The new album follows the conclusion of a journey involving lovers who break taboos and choose escape, continuing the group’s long-running vampire-inspired narrative.
Its 10-track structure includes songs such as “Two Fools,” “Stuck,” “Bad For You,” “Checkmate” and “Highlight,” alongside narrative tracks that connect the story. Actor Park Jung-min and announcer Kim Su-ji also contribute narration, which has been recorded in Korean, English, Japanese and Chinese.
That multilingual approach is clearly aimed at ENHYPEN’s international audience, which has become increasingly central as the group’s touring scale has expanded.
THE SIN : BLISS also carries another layer of significance.
It is ENHYPEN’s first mini-album comeback following the group’s transition to a six-member lineup earlier this year.
Rather than emphasizing that change at Thursday’s press conference, the members focused heavily on performance, touring and their connection with ENGENE.
That may explain Jungwon’s comment that their mindset remained unchanged.
The circumstances around ENHYPEN have evolved.
Their priority, according to the members, has not.
And judging from what happened in Busan, fans are prepared to follow them into the next chapter.
Before “Bloody Paradise” was even available to stream, ENGENE were already singing it back to them.
