Big Bang kicks off 20th anniversary world tour... First reveal of 'BiiiG' and 23-ton LED stage draws attention

BIGBANG will hold their world tour ″BIGBANG 2026~2027 WORLD TOUR ’XX : COSMOS’ IN GOYANG″ at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium for three days starting from the 21st to commemorate their 20th debut anniversary. The concert will feature representative songs released over the past 20 years, solo stages by each member, and the first performance of the new song ″BiiiG.″ ″BiiiG″ is a new track released about 4 years and 4 months after ″Still Life″ in 2022, and since its release on the 19th, it has topped real-time and daily charts on major domestic music sites as well as the iTunes song chart in 24 regions. On Melon, it recorded the highest number of users within one hour of release among songs released in 2026, ranking first on the TOP100 and daily charts. G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung directly participated in the setlist, stage design, and overall production of the concert. The stage direction and sound were handled by a band session led by Wow Jones, who has worked with Usher, Post Malone, and Rihanna, performing all songs live. The production also involved Mike Carson, director of the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show, and S Devlin, stage designer for the 2012 London Olympic closing ceremony. A 23-ton mobile LED device and multi-motor torque synchronization technology were also introduced. Before the concert, BIGBANG carried out various promotions including a collaboration video with the science YouTube channel ″Andoel Science,″ appointment as honorary ambassadors of the Space Aviation Agency, an event at the Han River, and lighting shows and media exhibitions around Jamsil. Starting with the Goyang concert, BIGBANG will continue their world tour with 33 shows in 19 cities worldwide including North America, Europe, Oceania, and Asia. Additional concert locations will be announced later. Currently, BIGBANG is active as a trio consisting of G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung.
