JooE, formerly of MOMOLAND, makes acting debut in musical 'Caffeine'... takes on role of Sejin for first stage performance

Singer JooE, formerly of the group MOMOLAND, made her debut as a musical actress. On the 21st, JooE took the stage in the original musical ″Caffeine″ held at The Good Theater in Seoul. ″Caffeine″ is a work set in the café ″Love is...″ where coffee and wine coexist after 6 p.m. JooE played the role of Sejin, the café manager and barista. Sejin is a character who goes to the café every morning and expresses her thoughts on love by writing the phrase ″Love is...″ on the chalkboard. JooE portrayed Sejin’s bright and confident personality with her own expressions and tone of voice. She also led the center of the play through her chemistry with the other actors. JooE said, ″I am so happy to have safely completed my first performance as Sejin in the musical ’Caffeine,’″ and added, ″I want to sincerely thank all the staff and fellow actors who helped me before the performance.″ She continued, ″Honestly, it still doesn’t feel real, but I want to become a JooE who grows even more during the remaining performances.″
