Enhypen achieves first Billboard 200 No. 1... K-pop album tops chart for 3 consecutive weeks

Enhypen (ENHYPEN·Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) has reached number one on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the United States, for the first time since their debut. On the 30th (local time), Billboard announced on its official website that Enhypen’s 8th mini-album, THE SIN : BLISS, topped the Billboard 200 chart dated September 5. During the tracking period, THE SIN : BLISS recorded 98,000 album units, including 92,000 album sales, 6,000 SEA, and a negligible amount of TEA. Enhypen, under HYBE label Belift Lab, reached the top of the Billboard 200 for the first time since their debut in 2020. Their previous highest ranking was number two, achieved by ROMANCE : UNTOLD and THE SIN : VANISH, released in July 2024 and last January, respectively. THE SIN : BLISS, released on the 21st, contains a total of 10 tracks, including the title track Bloody Paradise. According to Hanteo Chart, the album’s first-week sales were counted at 2,099,048 copies, making Enhypen the artist with five albums selling over 2 million copies. The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the U.S. each week by combining physical and digital album sales, streaming counts (SEA), and digital track downloads (TEA). With Enhypen’s number one, K-pop albums have topped the Billboard 200 for three consecutive weeks. Previously, Stray Kids’ THIS & THAT (August 22) and CATS’ WILD (August 29) each reached number one. This year, five K-pop albums have reached number one on the Billboard 200, including BTS’s ARIRANG and ATEEZ’s GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5. So far, a total of 10 K-pop groups have topped the Billboard 200. Among boy groups are BTS, SuperM, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, Tomorrow X Together (TXT), and Enhypen, while girl groups Black Pink, NewJeans, TWICE, and CATS have reached number one. Additionally, the OST album for the Netflix animation K-pop Demon Hunters, classified as a K-pop album, has also topped the Billboard 200.
