BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo Launch Solo Comebacks During Group’s 10th Anniversary Year

Three members of BLACKPINK are stepping back into the spotlight as solo artists, creating a packed comeback schedule as the K-pop group celebrates a decade since its debut.

Jennie has already opened the run of releases, while Lisa and Jisoo are set to follow with new music in early September.

Jennie Returns With ‘Fallen Angel’

Jennie kicked off the solo comeback streak on August 28 with her new digital EP “Fallen Angel.”

The release includes the title track “Fallen Angel,” along with “Heaven” and “Less Than a Lover.” Shortly after its release, the project showed strong domestic interest, with “Fallen Angel” entering Melon’s Hot 100 chart at No. 4.

Jennie is also expected to expand the project with a physical album featuring three additional songs: “Sweettooth,” “Lock It Down” and “Face.”

Her comeback follows an extensive run of international festival appearances throughout 2026. Jennie performed at major events including ComplexCon Hong Kong, The Governors Ball in the United States, Roskilde Festival in Denmark, Open’er Festival in Poland, Mad Cool Festival in Spain, Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic in Japan.

She also used several of those performances to introduce new material before its official release, building anticipation for the project. “Less Than a Lover” was released in advance on July 24.

Lisa Announces ‘SaWaDiKa’ Ahead of New EP ‘PRESS PLAY’

Lisa will be the next BLACKPINK member to release new solo music. Her single “SaWaDiKa” is scheduled to arrive on September 3, followed by her EP “PRESS PLAY” on October 23.

The upcoming single marks Lisa’s first solo music release in roughly a year and seven months following her February 2025 album “Alter Ego.” The title “SaWaDiKa” immediately draws attention to Lisa’s Thai roots. The phrase is based on the familiar Thai greeting meaning “hello,” raising curiosity about how the singer will incorporate her cultural background into the song’s concept and sound.

Lisa has also maintained a busy international schedule outside of music. Her documentary “Always Lalisa” is set to premiere as part of the Toronto International Film Festival, which opens on September 10. She is also scheduled to hold her “VIVA LA LISA” residency shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, with performances planned across multiple dates in September and November.

Jisoo Sets September Comeback With ‘CLICK’

Jisoo will follow one day after Lisa with the release of her new single “CLICK” at 1 p.m. KST on September 4. The song marks Jisoo’s first major solo comeback since her February 2025 mini album “AMORTAGE.”

It will also be her first new solo track since “EYES CLOSED,” her collaboration with pop singer Zayn released in October 2025.

That collaboration reached Billboard’s Hot 100, adding further attention to how Jisoo’s upcoming release will perform internationally.

BLACKPINK’s 10th Anniversary Has Brought Mixed Emotions for Fans
