Stray Kids, first overseas male artist to perform at Japan National Stadium... 140,000 attendees

Stray Kids became the first overseas male artist to hold a solo concert at the National Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, attracting 140,000 spectators. Stray Kids performed on August 29 and 30 at the Tokyo National Stadium (MUFG STADIUM) as part of their world tour ’RUN IT.’ This concert marked the beginning of their overseas tour and drew attention for being held at the Tokyo National Stadium, which has a large seating capacity. During the two-day concert, Stray Kids performed their hit songs including ’We In,’ ’Hellevator,’ ’Side Effects,’ ’Double Knot,’ ’Maniac,’ ’New Me,’ ’Sori-Kkun,’ ’Special,’ and ’This and That.’ They also debuted performances of ’Just a Little’ and ’Fate’ from their Japanese mini-album Vol. 3 ’Holo.’ Additionally, they performed the Japanese version of ’Case 143’ and local release tracks such as ’Social Path’ (Feat. LiSA). Their agency, JYP Entertainment, announced on the 30th that alongside the offline concerts, paid online live streaming and live viewing (real-time screening) were held simultaneously, with a cumulative total of 175,000 people participating in the concert. Stray Kids shared their thoughts on the performance, saying, ″It definitely became a day to remember. We are truly grateful and love everyone for creating such an amazing sight that made us almost doubt our eyes.″ Regarding their upcoming Japanese mini-album Vol. 4 ’SUIATSU,’ scheduled for release on November 25, they said, ″We are confident in the next album. We will continue to deliver the best work that satisfies everyone.″ On the final day of the concert, August 30, news was announced on-site that three additional performances would be held at Tokyo Dome from November 6 to 8. Stray Kids are scheduled to perform at Japan’s four major dome venues: Vantelin Dome Nagoya on September 5-6, Kyocera Dome Osaka on September 19-20, Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on October 24, and Tokyo Dome in November. All seven concerts across four regions in Japan previously announced were sold out. Meanwhile, Stray Kids achieved their ninth consecutive No. 1 on the US Billboard main album chart ’Billboard 200’ with their mini-album ’THIS & THAT,’ released on the 7th of last month.
