Kim Jaejoong successfully held a solo concert in Korea for the first time in 1 year and 3 months... Standing stage and first performance of the new song 'Tonight'

Singer Kim Jaejoong met with fans by holding a solo concert, ″2026 KIM JAE JOONG CONCERT [THE WAVE],″ at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on August 29 and 30. This performance was Kim Jaejoong’s first solo concert held in Korea in about 1 year and 3 months since May of last year. Kim Jaejoong started the stage with the title track ″Tonight″ from his recently released single THE WAVE, and continued with various songs including ″Glorious Day,″ raising the atmosphere from the early part of the concert. In particular, this concert featured a standing stage for the first time in Korea. Songs like ″Good Morning Night″ and ″Miracle,″ which allowed fans to sing along and jump together, followed, and not only the standing area but also the seated audience stood up to enjoy the performance. Kim Jaejoong passionately sang ″Footsteps″ and ″One Kiss″ by Emerald Castle, which he released as solo cover songs in 2006, showcasing his emotional vocals, and intensified the stage energy with rock genre songs such as ″Devotion,″ ″Dopamine,″ and ″ROCK STAR.″ During the ″Summer J″ stage, he moved into the audience to get closer to the fans. After singing ″Mine″ as the final song of the main performance, Kim Jaejoong delivered a message through a VCR: ″When today suddenly comes to mind, may it remain for a long time as the most brilliant green light in any moment of our lives.″ In response to fans’ encore requests, Kim Jaejoong performed ″OASIS″ and ″To the Boy″ for the first time in Korea. Regarding his recent music show activities, he shared, ″I think it was a time that refreshingly resolved the unresolved feelings between you and me. Thanks to your persistent efforts and support, I was able to have good activities.″ He then selected ″Tonight″ again as a re-encore stage at the fans’ request, saying, ″This is a song I made to enjoy with you for a lifetime.″ After finishing the Seoul performance, Kim Jaejoong is scheduled to continue his concert in Yokohama, Japan in September.
