IVE’s Jang Wonyoung has once again been recognized as one of South Korea’s most influential advertising stars.
According to Starship Entertainment, Wonyoung won the Female Advertising Model of the Year grand prize at the 2026 Brand of the Year Awards, marking her second consecutive victory in the category.
She previously took home the same honor at the 2025 ceremony, further strengthening her reputation as one of the most in-demand celebrity endorsers in Korea.
The Brand of the Year Awards, now in its 24th year, are organized by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and related industry organizations.
Each year, consumers vote to select the brands and public figures they believe stood out the most.
For the 2026 awards, approximately 770,000 consumers participated in voting over a two-week period beginning June 29, generating around 7.95 million votes in total.
Wonyoung’s win is especially notable because the award is based heavily on consumer participation, reflecting not only industry demand but also her widespread public recognition.

Wonyoung has become a familiar face across fashion, beauty and lifestyle campaigns.
Her polished image, upbeat energy and ability to adapt to different brand concepts have helped make her one of the most visible celebrity ambassadors of her generation.
Rather than maintaining one fixed image, Wonyoung has shown an ability to shift between elegant, youthful, luxurious and playful concepts depending on the brand.
That versatility has helped her secure repeated advertising and ambassador deals across multiple industries.
Her second consecutive Advertising Model of the Year award further highlights how strongly her personal image connects with consumers.
Wonyoung’s success is not limited to commercials and brand campaigns.
As a member of IVE, she continues to build her global profile through music and touring.
IVE is currently meeting fans around the world through the group’s second world tour, “SHOW WHAT I AM.”
The tour adds another layer to Wonyoung’s international visibility, combining her presence as a K-pop performer with her growing influence in fashion and advertising.

Winning the same major advertising award two years in a row puts Wonyoung in a particularly strong position within Korea’s celebrity endorsement market.
Her ability to generate attention both on stage and in commercial campaigns has made her valuable to brands looking to reach younger consumers. With continued music activities, global touring and multiple brand partnerships, Wonyoung is maintaining a presence across several areas of entertainment at once.
Her latest award shows that, at least when it comes to advertising impact, consumers are still choosing Wonyoung.
