Lim Young Woong joined fans in donating to children and adolescents suffering from pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases. On the 2nd, the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation announced that a prize of 2 million won from the Good Star King competition, in the name of Lim Young Woong, was delivered to support medical expenses for children and adolescents with pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases. With this, the total donations accumulated in the name of Lim Young Woong through Good Star have reached 134.05 million won. The foundation explained that this donation will be used to help children and adolescents undergoing treatment for pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases, as well as their families. Hong Seung-yoon, director of the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation, expressed gratitude to Lim Young Woong and the fans for their long-lasting warm hearts, noting that the economic burden on the families of these children and adolescents inevitably increases as treatment prolongs. He also added that the donated funds will be carefully used where needed to effectively support the children’s treatment. Meanwhile, the Korea Pediatric Cancer Foundation is a nonprofit foundation registered with the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2001, conducting various welfare projects such as supporting medical and care treatment expenses for children and adolescents with pediatric cancer and rare incurable diseases. Lim Young Woong is preparing to release a special digital album titled ’IM HERO 10,’ containing 10 tracks, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut.
