Monsta X released their new album, The Phase, on the 4th at 1 PM through various online music platforms. This album includes a total of six tracks: the title song ″MAGIC,″ ″Type X,″ ″SURVIVOR,″ ″Electric Heart,″ ″That’s My Girl,″ and ″Sweet Night, Sweet Morning.″ Their agency, Starship Entertainment, stated that The Phase vividly captures Monsta X’s present and opens a new chapter for the future. Monsta X incorporated the musical experiences gained through group activities, units, and solo projects into the diverse tracks of this album. The title track ″MAGIC″ represents the album’s mood and emotional texture, featuring rhythmic guitar sounds, strong beats, and the members’ vocals. Jooheon participated in writing the lyrics. Monsta X is in their 12th year since debut and has been active on domestic and international stages, including world tours. Through this album, they plan to showcase new music and performances. The Phase is their first release in about five months.
