"Conglomerate X Detective 2" Episode 10, Jin Isu Ends Up Covered in Blood... Ratings at 8.6%

In episode 10 of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama ’Rebel X Detective 2,’ Jin Isu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun) and Joo Hyera (played by Jung Eun-chae) uncover that the true culprit who drove the art festival students to death is Principal Jung Juhee (played by Jeon Hye-bin). The Violent Crimes Unit 1 publicly screened footage of Baek Yuna’s (played by Bang Ye-in) murder scene on the day of the art festival, exposing Jung Juhee’s crime. While attempting to escape, Jung Juhee fell from beneath the stage and was arrested. Jung Juhee had accepted a bribe from Baek Yuna’s mother to cast Baek Yuna as the lead in the art festival. When Baek Yuna demanded to confess, Jung Juhee slit her wrist with a knife, killing her and staging it as a suicide. Moon Seyun (played by Noh Joo-eun), who accidentally filmed this scene, blackmailed Jung Juhee. Jung Juhee then caused the death of Moon Seyun, an asthma patient, by using the contact drug ″Ruby.″ Jin Isu told Jung Juhee, ″From now on, people will remember you not as a legend of Korean dance but as a murderer.″ Meanwhile, the investigation into the serial disappearance cases surrounding Yoo Sungwon (played by Yoo Seung-ho) continued. Joo Hyera informed Jin Isu that Yoo Sungwon had taken model Song Areum (played by Lee Sae-rom) to his studio. Just as Yoo Sungwon was about to hand Song Areum champagne laced with drugs, Jin Isu arrived at the studio and safely evacuated her. Song Areum revealed that Yoo Sungwon asked her, ″How do you want to die?″ Joo Hyera warned, ″No matter what, never respond if he contacts you again.″ Later, Yoo Sungwon found and disabled all surveillance cameras installed by Jung Minjae (played by Lim Jin-seop) in his studio. Jin Isu monitored the studio using Hansoo Group’s ″high-altitude unmanned drone.″ Joo Hyera and Jung Minjae admired Jin Isu’s wealth. The three of them raised their glasses together, vowing to catch Yoo Sungwon no matter what. At the end of the broadcast, Jin Isu woke up in his home with blood on his clothes and hands, discovering the bloodied corpse of his friend Kim Younghwan (played by Choi Dong-gu) on the living room sofa. The Violent Crimes Unit 1 arrived at the scene and witnessed both Jin Isu and the corpse simultaneously, marking the ending. In the post-credits scene, a hallucinating Jin Isu is shown stabbing Kim Younghwan with a knife without hesitation. Episode 10 of ’Rebel X Detective 2’ recorded nationwide ratings of 7.8% and 7.6% in the metropolitan area according to Nielsen Korea, with a peak rating of 8.6%. The 2049 demographic rating reached a high of 2.8%. This drama consists of a total of 14 episodes and airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
