&TEAM, September 8 comeback with 'Mark on Me'... The title track of the first Korean mini-album is in the pop genre

&TEAM will release their second Korean mini-album, ″Mark on Me,″ on September 8th at 6 PM through domestic and international music platforms. This album adds the emotion of love to the ’Wolf DNA’ narrative that &TEAM has presented since their debut, delivering a new story. While their previously released first Korean mini-album, ″Back to Life,″ captured the nine members’ challenge of overcoming wounds and rising up, this new album sings about a wolf who had locked itself away after being rejected by the world, meeting someone who accepts it as it is and undergoing a transformation. The album title signifies two beings connected by fate leaving indelible marks on each other. The title track ″Mark on Me″ is a pop genre song featuring piano melodies and dramatic development, moving from a restrained introduction to an intense chorus. The lyrics express a desire to be tamed by the one who accepts even the scars, including a confession asking to engrave the imprint ″yours″ on the remaining wounds. The performance conveys the song’s emotions through precise and refined movements, gaze, facial expressions, and gestures, differing from the powerful group choreography seen before. The album includes a total of six tracks: ″Good Boy,″ ″Love Letter,″ ″Accelerate,″ ″Empty,″ and ″Night to howl!″ among others. ″Good Boy″ is a hip-hop track emphasizing 808 beats and bass, blending innocence and wildness. ″Love Letter″ captures the romance of the 1990s with retro synthesizer melodies. ″Accelerate″ is a pop R&B song conveying a free and comfortable atmosphere, while ″Empty″ is an alternative rock ballad expressing earnest feelings toward one person. The final track, ″Night to howl!,″ unleashes suppressed emotions with 2000s American pop-punk sounds. Griff Clawson, who has worked with Black Pink Rosé and NCT, produced the title track, while Maika Fremnas, Jo Yoon-kyung, Chamein, Jude, and Danke, who have collaborated with Benson Boone, Selena Gomez, and Enhypen, participated in the songwriting. Johnny Goldstein, Bang Si-hyuk, Supreme Boi, and Heize Noise contributed to ″Good Boy,″ Chiji Stevens produced ″Accelerate,″ and Dwillie produced ″Empty.″ Soma Genda and Park Moon-chi worked on ″Love Letter,″ with Soma Genda also producing ″Night to howl!.″ &TEAM debuted in Japan in 2022 and has expanded their activities to Korea, Asia, and the United States. Their Korean debut album ″Back to Life,″ released last year, sold 1.22 million copies in its first week and won three music show trophies. Following that, their third Japanese mini-album ″We on Fire″ achieved three consecutive million-seller albums, and this album ranked 52nd on the US Billboard main album chart ″Billboard 200,″ setting a record as the first boy group originating from Japan to enter the chart. In August, they performed at the Grammy Museum’s ″Global Spin Live″ and ″KCON LA 2026.″ Ahead of the new album release, &TEAM held their first solo dome concert at Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, on the 5th and 6th, performing 29 songs over about four hours. On the same day, they held a showcase at SBS Prism Tower in Mapo-gu, Seoul, officially starting their comeback activities. On October 3rd and 4th, they will hold the ″2026 &TEAM CONCERT TOUR ’BLAZE THE WAY’ ENCORE in KSPO DOME″ at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
