Young Tak releases highlight medley of third regular album 'GOGO'... presents 12 tracks including title song 'Kkeokjeo'

Singer Young Tak announced their comeback by releasing a highlight medley video of their third full-length album ’GOGO’ on their official SNS channels. The video sequentially introduced parts of all 12 tracks, from the opening track ’Penguin’ to the closing track ’PACEMAKER.’ The video features a motif inspired by a racing car dashboard and navigation guide lines, with movements corresponding to track numbers. Along with highlights of each song, the names of the creators involved in lyrics, composition, and arrangement, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of the concept photos, were included. Young Tak showcased the album preparation process by portraying various concepts such as a racer on the circuit and a conductor on stage. The direction using the title track ’Kkeokgeo’ also drew attention. Every time the route changed, the message ’Kkeokgeo’ appeared, accompanied by actual brake sound effects, adding vividness. This teasing content visually expressed the album’s message, ″What if you move a little differently than expected,″ attracting interest. The 12 tracks cover various genres including punk, pop, rock, ballad, trot, and country. ’Penguin’ affirms one’s own rhythm, while ’Dosirasolpamiredo’ poses questions about the self in a changing world. The title track ’Kkeokgeo’ conveys courage to move in unexpected directions, ’Vintage Love’ depicts a maturing relationship, and ’Old Radio’ focuses on family and memories. The trot song ’Heoheo (虛虛)’ reflects on life’s enlightenment, and ’The Weather Is Really Nice’ carries a hopeful message. ’Temporary Save’ is a ballad expressing unforgettable feelings, showcasing Young Tak’s vocal ability. ’Can’t Sleep Tonight’ captures excitement, ’VIDA LOCA’ delivers a free-spirited and energetic message, and the final track ’PACEMAKER’ tells a warm story about matching the pace of those walking together. This third full-length album ’GOGO’ is Young Tak’s first full album in about three years since their second full album ’FORM’ released in August 2023. Young Tak participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement of 11 out of the 12 tracks. The album will be released on the 14th at 6 PM through various online music sites. Additionally, Young Tak is scheduled to hold solo concerts ’TAK SHOW 5’ in Seoul and Jeonju this coming October.
