Doh Kyung Soo Moves Seoul “DAY OFF” Concert to KINTEX Weeks Before Opening

All existing tickets will be automatically refunded as organizers prepare a new round of reservations

Doh Kyung Soo, also known as EXO’s D.O., is relocating the Seoul opening concerts of his upcoming “DAY OFF” tour less than a month before the first performance.

The singer and actor was originally scheduled to perform at Ticketlink Live Arena, formerly known as Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium, in Seoul’s Songpa District. However, the three concerts will now be held at KINTEX 1 Exhibition Hall 5 in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.

The performances will proceed on their original dates and times:

• October 2 at 7:30 p.m. KST
• October 3 at 5 p.m. KST
• October 4 at 5 p.m. KST

Although the schedule remains unchanged, the move will require every existing ticket holder to make a new reservation.

Why was Doh Kyung Soo’s Seoul concert venue changed?

Ticketlink announced the venue change on September 8, citing “unavoidable circumstances near the venue” that made it difficult to ensure audience safety and operate the performances smoothly.

The announcement follows months of disruption at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium. Since June 5, protesters have reportedly restricted access to the venue amid a controversy involving a shortage of ballots during South Korea’s June 3 local elections.

Employees from nine sports organizations affiliated with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee were able to enter their offices inside the building on September 8 with police assistance, 95 days after the blockade began. Around 1,830 police personnel were deployed to maintain order, according to Korean media reports.

The employees reportedly removed computers, documents, official seals and supplies used to support national athletes. The operation was completed in approximately 70 minutes, but normal use of the building remained uncertain.

With Doh Kyung Soo’s concerts approaching, organizers ultimately chose to move the shows rather than risk further disruption.

All existing tickets will be automatically refunded

The venue change means previously issued tickets cannot be transferred directly to the KINTEX performances.

KINTEX Exhibition Hall 5 has a different layout and seating configuration from Ticketlink Live Arena. As a result, Ticketlink confirmed that all existing reservations would be cancelled automatically beginning at 2 p.m. KST on September 8.

Refunds will be returned through the original payment method. Credit-card refunds may take approximately five to seven days to appear, depending on the card issuer.

Fans have been warned not to cancel their tickets manually before the batch cancellation process is completed. Anyone who cancels independently may lose the priority rebooking benefit offered to existing ticket holders and could also be charged a cancellation fee.

Delivery fees paid for physical tickets will also be refunded. Tickets for the relocated concerts will instead be available for collection at the venue.

When does rebooking begin?

Domestic customers who held tickets at the time of the venue-change announcement will receive first-priority access on September 14 from 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. KST.

Global ticket holders will receive their priority booking period on September 15 during the same hours.

A second presale will be held for verified fan-club members. Fan-club verification is scheduled for September 16, followed by domestic presales on September 17 and global presales on September 18.

General ticket sales will begin on September 21 at 8 p.m. KST.

Existing ticket holders will not need to complete a separate verification process for the first presale, provided they log in with the same Ticketlink account used for their original booking.

However, their former seats will not be preserved. Rebooking will be handled as a new purchase, and the same seat or price category cannot be guaranteed. Seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within the available sections.

Presale customers may purchase one ticket per person, while the general-sale limit is two tickets per person, including any tickets already purchased during the presale.

Other concerts have also been affected

Doh Kyung Soo is not the first artist whose plans have been disrupted by the situation at the Olympic Park venue.

Park Seo Jin’s Seoul encore concert was previously cancelled. TVXQ member U-Know Yunho and K-band N.Flying moved their performances from the Handball Gymnasium to Jamsil Indoor Stadium, while Japanese boy group JO1 cancelled its scheduled Seoul concert.

Doh Kyung Soo’s team had already warned fans when ticket sales opened in August that the venue could change depending on conditions in the surrounding area.

Both the domestic and global fan-club presales reportedly sold out, demonstrating strong demand for the singer’s first solo concert tour since completing his “DO it!” Asia tour with a Seoul finale in December 2025.

“DAY OFF” will launch a 10-city tour

The Seoul concerts will mark the beginning of Doh Kyung Soo’s 2026–2027 “DAY OFF” tour.

After Goyang, he is scheduled to visit Macau, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kaohsiung, Singapore, Hong Kong, Manila, Tokyo and Taipei. The tour will continue through March 2027.

“DAY OFF” is built around the idea of stepping away from familiar routines and enjoying a freer, less structured day. The concert is expected to combine Doh’s vocal-focused solo music with new performances reflecting his evolving identity beyond his activities with EXO.

The venue announcement also arrived on the same day as the release of his fourth mini-album, “DOPAMINE.” The new project continues a solo career that has developed alongside his acting work and group activities.

Despite the last-minute logistical change, the Seoul performances themselves have not been cancelled. For fans who previously secured tickets, however, attending the concert will require close attention to the new rebooking schedule and another race for seats.
