Tomorrow X Together (TXT) achieves platinum certification with Japanese single 'Setsunahabana'... second achievement this year

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has received the Gold Disc ″Platinum″ certification from the Japan Record Association for the Japanese single 5th album ″Setsuna Hanabi″ (セツナハナビ). The Japan Record Association announced that as of August, the cumulative shipments of ″Setsuna Hanabi″ have surpassed 250,000 copies. With this, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has received their second ″Platinum″ certification this year, following the release of their 8th mini album ″7TH YEAR: When the Thorns Momentarily Stop the Wind″ in Korea this April. ″Setsuna Hanabi″ includes a total of four tracks: the title track of the same name, three original new songs including ″Silence″ and ″Nice to Meet Ya,″ and another version of the title track. This album also achieved success in digital music, ranking number one on the Oricon ″Weekly Digital Single Ranking″ as of August 31, and topping the Billboard Japan ″Hot 100″ chart for the week of August 17 to 23. Additionally, it ranked first on major Billboard Japan digital charts such as ″Hot Shot Song″ and ″Download Song.″ Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has received ″Double Platinum″ certification for ″CHIKAI,″ which achieved ″Triple Platinum,″ as well as for ″Hoshi no Jang: TOGETHER,″ ″Starkissed,″ ″SWEET,″ and ″GOOD BOY GONE BAD.″ With ″Setsuna Hanabi,″ ″7TH YEAR: When the Thorns Momentarily Stop the Wind,″ ″Hoshi no Jang: SANCTUARY,″ ″Namae no Jang: FREEFALL,″ ″Namae no Jang: TEMPTATION,″ and ″Chaotic Wonderland″ all receiving ″Platinum″ certification, they currently hold a total of 17 Gold Disc certified albums. The Japan Record Association grants certifications based on cumulative shipments: Gold for over 100,000 copies, Platinum for over 250,000 copies, Double Platinum for over 500,000 copies, Triple Platinum for over 750,000 copies, and Million for over 1,000,000 copies. Meanwhile, Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is scheduled to perform at the ″2026 Global Citizen Festival″ held in New York’s Central Park on the 26th (local time).
