Stray Kids’ Hyunjin has traded polished glamour for dusty denim and cowboy attitude in his latest campaign.
GUESS revealed its Fall 2026 campaign with Hyunjin on September 10, transforming the singer into a modern interpretation of the California cowboy.
In the released images, Hyunjin leans against the driver’s seat of a vintage car while wearing a black cowboy hat, washed denim jacket and logo T-shirt. The styling feels rugged, but his relaxed pose and intense expression keep it editorial rather than costume-like.
The result is not a conventional Western fantasy. It is a softer, more romantic version of Americana shaped around Hyunjin’s recognizable mix of elegance and edge.

Cowboy styling can easily become theatrical. Hyunjin makes it feel natural because contrast has always been central to his image.
On stage, he is known for powerful movement and dramatic expressions. Away from performances, fans frequently see a quieter side through his painting, photography and interest in art. He can appear delicate and intense within the same frame, which makes him particularly suited to a campaign built around opposing ideas.
The clothes are traditionally rugged, but Hyunjin wears them with a graceful silhouette. The cowboy hat suggests toughness, while his expression adds mystery. The denim feels practical, yet the overall image remains carefully composed.
That tension is what keeps the campaign visually interesting. Hyunjin is not pretending to be a rancher. He is turning the cowboy into a fashion character.
The Fall 2026 campaign draws from the California identity GUESS has developed since the brand was founded in 1981.
Instead of recreating an old Western film, the collection brings that history into a contemporary wardrobe through pigment-washed denim, workwear jackets, faux leather outerwear and layered denim-on-denim looks.
Hyunjin also wears pieces from the GUESS JEANS × The Rolling Stones collection, introducing another layer of rebellious energy. The connection is fitting. Rock imagery and K-pop performance may belong to different generations, but both rely on attitude, physical presence and a strong visual identity.
For Hyunjin, the Rolling Stones pieces help shift the campaign away from simple nostalgia. The photographs become a meeting point between vintage Americana, rock iconography and the highly polished visual storytelling of modern K-pop.

Hyunjin’s relationship with luxury fashion is already well established.
He became a Versace global ambassador in 2023, beginning a partnership that placed him in campaigns and on international fashion-week front rows. His Versace appearances often emphasize sharp tailoring, sensual silhouettes and dramatic Italian glamour. GUESS presents him differently.
Here, the appeal comes from denim, movement and casual confidence. Rather than looking untouchable, he appears closer to a character who could step out of the vintage car and disappear down a California highway.
That range explains why Hyunjin continues to attract fashion partnerships. He does not simply wear clothing well. He understands how to communicate the story behind a look through posture, expression and movement.
His interest in visual art likely strengthens that instinct. Whether he is performing choreography, painting or posing for a campaign, Hyunjin often treats the body and face as part of a larger composition.
Hyunjin was announced as a GUESS global brand ambassador in March 2026. His first campaign with the company focused on “Modern Heritage,” introducing a cleaner and more contemporary denim image.
In June, he visited the GUESS JEANS flagship store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles for a special fan event and pop-up experience. Speaking about his personal style, Hyunjin described authenticity and simplicity as important influences, which helps explain why the brand’s denim-centered identity feels compatible with him.
The Fall campaign expands that partnership by giving him a more defined character.
This time, he is not only presenting individual products. He is helping build an entire mood around them, complete with classic cars, Western references and rock-inspired styling.
GUESS co-founder and chief creative officer Paul Marciano said Hyunjin’s distinctive style and artistic sensibility brought a new interpretation to the brand’s modern American aesthetic.
The photographs make that point clearly. Hyunjin does not disappear inside the brand’s history. He reshapes it around his own presence.
What makes this campaign memorable is not simply the cowboy hat or vintage car. It is the way familiar Western symbols change when Hyunjin wears them.
The denim becomes more dramatic. The workwear becomes more elegant. The rock references feel connected to performance rather than nostalgia.
For fans accustomed to seeing Hyunjin under concert lights, the campaign offers another kind of stage. There is no choreography, but the storytelling remains physical. One tilted pose and a carefully controlled gaze are enough to create a character.
GUESS may have supplied the California road, but Hyunjin gives it its romance.
