BTS’s V Turns a DAZED Cover Into Three Different Characters

The BTS member’s latest CELINE editorial shows why his greatest modeling strength is not simply his appearance, but the way he transforms small changes in expression into entirely different moods.

BTS’s V has returned with another fashion editorial, but the most striking element is not the clothing, elaborate accessories or dramatic lighting.

It is how much he communicates while appearing to do very little.

The CELINE global ambassador covers the Fall 2026 issue of British fashion magazine DAZED, presenting three distinctly different moods through subtle changes in his gaze, posture and styling.

Against a blue background, V wears a patterned shirt partially open and looks directly into the camera. His tousled hair and restrained expression create an image that feels dreamy but slightly distant, as though the viewer has entered the middle of a story without being told what happened first.

There is no exaggerated pose. The tension comes almost entirely from his face.

Three Looks, Three Versions of V

A second image replaces the softness with something sharper.

Wearing a dark knit and layered accessories beneath intense lighting, V faces the camera with a more controlled and confrontational expression. The styling is heavier, but his eyes remain the center of the photograph.

The third look shifts again.

V lies inside a room filled with red and orange tones, dressed in a blue shirt and striped tie. The formal pieces have been deliberately loosened, creating a balance between classic tailoring and rebellion.

He appears relaxed, but not completely comfortable. The image feels like the aftermath of a long night, giving viewers enough detail to imagine their own narrative.

Together, the photographs demonstrate one of V’s most distinctive modeling abilities. He does not approach every look with the same expression. Instead, he seems to build a different character around each outfit.

His relationship with the brand works because both favor a mixture of classic elegance and youthful unpredictability. Tailored shirts, narrow ties and refined accessories can appear formal, but V often wears them with undone buttons, relaxed poses or slightly disordered hair.

The contrast prevents the styling from feeling overly polished.

CELINE is now led creatively by Michael Rider, who succeeded Hedi Slimane in 2025. V’s continued presence gives the house a familiar global figure while its visual direction evolves. He is also listed alongside stars such as Suzy and Liu Shishi among CELINE’s current ambassadors.

Fashion Is Only One Part of a Busy New Chapter

The editorial arrives while BTS prepares for the South American portion of its world tour.

The group is scheduled to begin the leg in Bogotá on October 2 before performing in Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires and São Paulo. The tour represents BTS’s return to large-scale group activities following the members’ completion of mandatory service.

For V, that means moving between two very different forms of visibility.

On tour, he performs for stadium-sized audiences through music and movement. In the DAZED editorial, he creates intensity inside a single silent frame.

Both depend on the same skill: knowing exactly how much emotion to reveal and how much to leave unexplained.

The new cover may be built around CELINE clothing, but its real narrative comes from V himself. Each photograph feels like a scene from a different film, and his expression leaves fans wanting to know what happens next.
