KBS2 'Not You, But Another Love' First Broadcast... Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin Start Realistic Romance as 10-Year Couple

KBS2’s new Saturday-Sunday miniseries ″Not You, But Another Love″ premiered on the 12th, portraying the realistic concerns and changes in the relationship of a couple who have been together for 10 years. The drama centers on the emotional changes experienced by Namgung Ho (played by Seo Kang-joon) and Lee Mi-do (played by Ahn Eun-jin), who have been lovers for a long time. Namgung Ho works steadily as a deputy manager at a large corporation, Hunmin Confectionery, while Lee Mi-do faces an unstable reality, with a film project she was preparing as a director falling through. Now in their mid-30s, the two face a situation where they can no longer postpone worries about marriage and the future. In the first episode, Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do are shown play-acting and bickering at a bar. When Namgung Ho speaks to Lee Mi-do as if meeting her for the first time, she responds coldly. Later, the two share a passionate kiss, showing the cheerful atmosphere unique to a couple of 10 years. Through narration, Lee Mi-do explains, ″I first met Namgung Ho when I was seven years old. We have been open with each other since we were young. After going through turbulent times, we were friends with benefits and friends of the opposite sex, and at 26, we became lovers, and now we have been dating for 10 years.″ Additionally, a pre-release video revealed Lee Mi-do’s mother, Ma Sook-hee (played by Kim Mi-kyung), bringing up the topic of marriage, exposing the perspectives of those around the couple. The production team introduced, ″Namgung Ho and Lee Mi-do are not a couple shaken because they don’t love each other, but because they have been together for so long, they face more complex concerns.″ ″Not You, But Another Love″ is written by screenwriter Yoo Soo-ji and directed by PDs Hwang Seung-gi and Lee Ga-ram. The drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM and is available in over 240 countries worldwide through Amazon Prime Video.
