The singer donated ₩100 million to the Community Chest of Korea, also known as the Fruit of Love. The contribution qualified him for membership in the organization’s Honor Society, a group for individual donors who have contributed at least ₩100 million or pledged to do so within five years.

Rather than leaving the donation’s purpose open-ended, Yeonjun directed the money toward practical support for vulnerable older adults in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province.

The funds will help provide free meals and renovate aging welfare facilities used by local residents.

“I wanted to share the love I have received,” Yeonjun said. “I hope it can help make someone’s day even a little warmer.”
