IU reveals 16 years of friendship with Yoon In-na... Tribute to the track from 'From This Star'

IU commemorated a long-standing friendship with Yoo In Na by sharing a special message and photos. On September 15, IU posted several photos on their official Instagram with the captions ″Dear my crazy soulmate″ and ″Sure YOO IN NA we best soulmate.″ The photos captured various moments shared between IU and Yoo In Na over 16 years, drawing attention as they showed both their childhood and matured appearances. The ″Dear my crazy soulmate″ shared by IU is the title of a track from the new digital single ″From This Star,″ released on the 10th. IU revealed that this song was written exclusively for Yoo In Na. In the lyrics, IU expressed affection with lines such as ″You confessed your weirdness again today, I was disappointed, but you can be weird in front of me forever, so I like you even more,″ ″I’ll wear the funny T-shirt you gave me, and the necklace with the Blue moon on it; when you laugh watching me play around, that’s when I like you the most,″ and ″My dream is to become two weird grandmas together.″ This single is IU’s first new song in a year since releasing ″Bye, Summer″ last September and will also be included in the upcoming sixth full-length album. IU and Yoo In Na first met on the SBS variety show ″Heroes″ in 2010 and later played sisters in the 2013 drama ″The Best Lee Soon Shin.″ Their friendship, which transcends an 11-year age gap, has received strong support from fans.
