'SDFA' ranks first in TV-OTT non-drama buzz for the second week of September, Taeyong and Bailey begin team mission

The Mnet variety show ″Street World Fighter: Director’s War″ introduced its first team mission with the addition of Taeyong (NCT 127) and Bailey (ALLDAY PROJECT). In episode 5, the ″Solo Artist Direct″ mission began, where eight choreographers formed teams of two to compete in new song performances. Following the results of ″Last Stage: 24H,″ where Renan and Hash were eliminated and Jung Minjun survived, each team competed with Taeyong and Bailey’s new song performances. In Taeyong’s matchup, the teams of Bada & Baek Guyoung and Nine & Babyzoo faced off. Bada and Baek Guyoung delivered an energetic stage reminiscent of a large festival, featuring a press conference intro and the signature ″Slap Dance″ choreography. Nine and Babyzoo showcased a ″Top Tier″ concept and the ″V Sign″ point choreography, expressing confidence based on their deep understanding of Taeyong. Taeyong praised Nine and Babyzoo’s stage, saying, ″The composition is really insane,″ and also responded positively to Bada and Baek Guyoung’s intro and ″Slap Dance.″ In Bailey’s matchup, the teams of Jung Minjun & Casper and Shimizu & Inkyu competed. Jung Minjun and Casper prepared a performance maximizing Bailey’s solo sections and strengths with the ″Albino Snake″ concept, and Bailey complimented, ″Casper definitely knows my style.″ On the other hand, Shimizu and Inkyu created a grotesque yet feminine mood using the ″Hydra Queen″ concept with various props such as red cloth and heels. The two experienced conflicts over the direction of the production, with Inkyu expressing difficulty, saying, ″There isn’t a single cut I like.″ They completed their draft after 12 hours of filming. Bailey showed interest in the use of heels in Shimizu and Inkyu’s performance but expressed concern about the red cloth production. During this mission’s team formation, Jung Minjun faced a crisis in choosing a partner but formed a team with Casper, increasing their trust. Meanwhile, Shimizu and Inkyu experienced conflict due to differing opinions on the production. Meanwhile, ″Street World Fighter″ ranked first in the integrated buzz ranking for non-drama TV-OTT on Good Data Corporation’s Fundex for the second week of September. The two teams not selected by the artists advanced to the second ″Last Stage: 24H,″ and that stage will be released on Tving at noon on September 26. The show airs simultaneously on Mnet and tvN every Tuesday at 10 PM and is also available on Tving and Mnet Plus.
