Cho Yong-pil will hold the ’2026 Cho Yong-pil & The Great Birth Concert’ at KSPO Dome in Olympic Park, Seoul, from November 27 to 29. This concert will feature Cho Yong-pil performing on stage together with the band The Great Birth, who have been with him for a long time, showcasing his representative songs and musical journey all in one place. The agency YPC stated, ″You will be able to experience the beloved representative songs and Cho Yong-pil’s musical legacy all in one place.″ They also mentioned that the live sound with the band The Great Birth will make it a performance encompassing a music journey spanning over half a century. Cho Yong-pil debuted in 1968 with the rock group Atkins, and established himself as a top-tier singer with hits like ″Return to Busan Port″ in 1976 and a million-seller record with his first full album in 1980. He has been active in various genres such as rock, pop, and trot, setting records for the largest audience at domestic concerts and selling out Jamsil Main Stadium eight times. He is recognized as the only singer to have held number one chart records from the 1970s through the 2010s.
