CORTIS 'GREENGREEN' surpasses 4.1 million copies, becomes a quadruple million-seller

CORTIS has recorded cumulative sales of 4.1 million copies with their mini 2nd album ’GREENGREEN.’ According to the latest weekly album chart released by Circle Chart on September 17 (tracking period: September 6–12), CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)’s ’GREENGREEN’ has sold approximately 4.1 million copies. With this, the K-pop albums that have surpassed 4 million cumulative sales domestically this year are BTS’s ’Arirang’ and CORTIS’s ’GREENGREEN.’ ’GREENGREEN’ recorded initial sales of 2,313,291 copies based on Hanteo Chart in May, about five times higher than the previous album’s initial sales of 436,467 copies. It surpassed 3 million copies on Circle Chart in July, 11 weeks after release, and added another 1 million copies within two months. Various forms of merchandise such as LPs, lip balms, dice, and CORTIS balls have been praised for increasing the collectible value of the physical album. In August, the extended version ’GREENGREEN_playextended,’ which includes new songs ’PACK IT UP’ and ’MONEYMONEYMONEY,’ was released. The title track ’REDRED’ and songs like ’YOUNGCREATORCREW,’ ’Asai,’ and ’Blue Lips’ attracted attention with their fresh sounds and lyrics. ’GREENGREEN’ debuted at number 3 on the US Billboard main album chart ’Billboard 200’ dated May 23, setting the record for the fastest top 3 entry by a K-pop group excluding project teams since debut. On the September 19 ’Billboard 200,’ it ranked 188th, marking 18 consecutive weeks on the chart. The debut album ’COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ has sold over 2.3 million copies cumulatively as of the 17th according to Circle Chart, with 1 million copies sold this year alone. CORTIS has recorded sales of 6.4 million copies with two albums in just over a year since debut. CORTIS recently concluded the finale performance of their first concert tour ’Put Your Phone Down’ in Yokohama, Japan, and is scheduled to appear at the ’Rock in Japan Festival 2026’ held at Chiba Soga Sports Park on September 20 and ’SBS Inkigayo Live in Tokyo’ at Saitama Belluna Dome on the 22nd.
