Koo Kyo-hwan stars in 'Resurrection Man: The Red,' releasing on September 30... The supernatural chase begins

The film ″Resurrection Man: The Red,″ starring Koo Kyo-hwan (directed by Baek Jong-yeol, distributed by Lotte Entertainment, produced by Yong Film, co-produced by Superfiction, YLAB Co., Ltd., and Studio Nungil Co., Ltd.) will be released on September 30. This work is based on the original webtoon of the same name, rated for audiences aged 15 and over, with a runtime of 101 minutes. The movie depicts the story of Seok-hwan (played by Koo Kyo-hwan), a job seeker who gains the ability to resurrect 72 hours after death. Seok-hwan, who grew up in an orphanage and was adopted into a family, has been unable to find a job by the age of 32. He relies on Mr. Hiroshi (played by Kim In-woo) and his daughter Ye-rin (played by Kim Si-a). One day, an intruder breaks into their home, kidnaps Hiroshi, and Seok-hwan suffers fatal injuries and dies. After falling off a cliff, Seok-hwan acquires the supernatural power to resurrect after three days. Upon learning this, the global biotech company Noah begins to track Seok-hwan, claiming, ″We have found the Red.″ Resurrected Seok-hwan gains superhuman strength and becomes the target of Black (played by Shin Seung-ho), a psychic who can control others’ minds. Hiroshi’s life is in danger as a price for hiding secrets, and Ye-rin’s fate remains unknown. It is revealed that both Seok-hwan and Black were subjects of human experiments conducted by the multinational company Noah during their childhood. Directed by Baek Jong-yeol, Koo Kyo-hwan portrays Seok-hwan, an ordinary job seeker who appears far from a psychic. The film includes intense action and car chase scenes, as well as direction reminiscent of video games. Additionally, the chemistry between Seok-hwan and his friend Young-ha (played by Kang Ki-young) adds a bright atmosphere, and Shin Seung-ho, as Black, presents a dark vibe while speaking three languages: Japanese, English, and Korean.
