ZEROBASEONE SEOK MATTHEW·PARK GUNWOOK form unit EMP... Mixtape digital single release in November

ZEROBASEONE, SEOK MATTHEW, and PARK GUNWOOK have announced new musical activities as the unit ZEROBASEONE EMP. At midnight on the 19th, ZEROBASEONE’s official SNS posted an album poster titled ″EMP Mixtape Vol.1: We the Extra.″ The poster included the album name along with the schedule for the digital single release in November. This mixtape contains a total of four songs. The double title tracks ″EMP″ and ″Pina C,″ as well as ″Woofer″ and ″In your rain,″ are included. All four songs were directly written and composed by SEOK MATTHEW and PARK GUNWOOK. ″EMP″ is a song that blends hip-hop and pop genres, showcasing the musical colors of ZEROBASEONE EMP. The other title track, ″Pina C,″ captures an atmosphere reminiscent of moments on the beach. PARK GUNWOOK previously presented the self-composed song ″Customize″ on ZEROBASEONE’s 6th mini album ″Ascend-,″ and SEOK MATTHEW is also known to have consistently worked on songwriting. The two are debuting as the first unit within ZEROBASEONE. Meanwhile, ZEROBASEONE is a project group formed through Mnet’s ″Boys Planet″ and debuted in 2023. Currently, SUNG HANBIN, KIM JIWOONG, SEOK MATTHEW, KIM TAE RAE, and PARK GUNWOOK are active members.
