YG producer Perry missing for 13 years... "Unanswered Questions" requests tips

The whereabouts of rapper and producer Perry (54) are once again drawing attention. The production team of SBS’s ″Unanswered Questions″ announced that they are waiting for tips from anyone who knows about his current situation or is in contact with his family, increasing interest in the long-standing disappearance rumors. On the 17th, the ″Unanswered Questions″ production team posted a request for information along with past photos of Perry on their official social media accounts. The team stated, ″We are waiting for tips from anyone who knows about the current status of rapper and producer Perry, who has been missing since he was last seen in Los Angeles, USA, around 2010 after continuing his music activities in Korea since the mid-1990s, or anyone who is in contact with his family.″ Perry, originally from the United States, began his activities in Korea in the mid-1990s and was an early member of YG Entertainment (hereafter YG). He formed connections with YG through collaborations with Jinusean, One Time, Lexy, and others, and later produced music for YG artists such as Seven and Wheesung. He is also known to have participated in the early music production for Big Bang. In 2001, he released his solo album and was active as a singer himself. Around 2010, Perry’s whereabouts became unknown after he was last seen in Los Angeles. At that time, he still had a contract period remaining with YG Entertainment but suddenly disappeared. Both fellow artists and family members have stated that they do not know his whereabouts. It is also known that no contract renewal took place afterward. In 2021, an internet user claiming to be Perry’s nephew posted that they had filed a missing person report with the U.S. Department of State and were searching for him. However, no updates or official news about Perry’s current status have been reported since then.
