Pledis Entertainment announced on the 19th that Hoshi recently injured his knee during Ground Forces performance team practice and was diagnosed with a rupture of the right anterior cruciate ligament after a detailed examination. Accordingly, he underwent surgery on the afternoon of the 18th based on medical advice and is currently resting and recovering. According to the agency, Hoshi will devote himself to treatment and rehabilitation without physical activity for the time being. He will also not participate in upcoming events such as the ″Taekwondo Demonstration Team Event″ and the ″Ground Forces Festival 2026,″ which he was scheduled to attend as a member of the unit. The Army Taekwondo Demonstration Team has confirmed plans to ensure his service conditions in accordance with relevant regulations and procedures so that Hoshi can focus on his treatment.
