Imi-sook expressed her stance that she will not make her future daughter-in-law prepare holiday food through her YouTube channel ’Imi-sook_Suksureoun Misook’. In the video released on the 18th titled ’Imi-sook-style dumplings for Chuseok. Made them spicy and had fun,’ Imi-sook prepared for Chuseok by making dumplings herself with acquaintances. While making the dumpling filling, Imi-sook laughed and said, ″These are things I really didn’t do even when I was a daughter-in-law.″ When the topic of her daughter-in-law came up, Imi-sook stated, ″I would never make my daughter-in-law or anyone like that do these kinds of things.″ She added, ″I’m actually afraid a daughter-in-law will come. I just tell them to get along with each other. I don’t even call them during the holidays and tell them to go on a trip.″ That day, while making dumplings, Imi-sook also scolded the people around her, and someone said, ″This is kind of a scolding time disguised as dumpling making.″ She said, ″That’s how it usually is,″ explaining that when families gather to make food, many conversations happen, and ″That’s why there are often fights during Chuseok and other holidays.″ Additionally, Imi-sook made a spicy dumpling soup with various ingredients such as tofu, aged kimchi, mung bean sprouts, pork, beef, and glass noodles, following the method passed down from her mother, who is from the northern part of Korea, and shared it with her acquaintances.
