On the 21st, at the press preview and press conference for the movie 'Possible Love' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, director Lee Chang-dong is handing over the Silver Lion (Grand Jury Prize) he won at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival to actor Jo Yeo-jeong. /LEE SAEROM Reporter[THE FACT|LEE SAEROM Reporter] On the 21st, at the press preview and press conference for the movie 'Possible Love' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, director Lee Chang-dong (right) is handing over the Silver Lion (Grand Jury Prize) he won at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival to actor Jo Yeo-jeong.'Possible Love' is a film that depicts the story of two couples, a laid-off worker and his wife, and a documentary director and his husband, who meet to produce a documentary and confront their different lives and hidden desires.'Possible Love', director Lee Chang-dong's first new film in 8 years, and which had already garnered attention with the appearances of actors Jeon Do-yeon, Sol Kyung-gu, Jo In-sung, and Jo Yeo-jeong, was recognized for its artistic merit by winning the Grand Jury Prize (Silver Lion) at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.This is the first time a Korean film has won the Grand Jury Prize at this festival, and for director Lee personally, it is the first time in 24 years since he won the Best Director Award (Silver Lion) for 'Oasis' in 2002.'Possible Love', which is also director Lee's first Netflix film, will be released in Korea on the 23rd and will challenge for an Oscar as Korea's submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 99th Academy Awards.
